The Lunchkonzerte, traditionally held in the beautiful pavilion of the Hofgarten in Innsbruck, are a must in the Festwochen calendar.
With its cozy spots, the pond, and numerous seating areas under the majestic trees, the Hofgarten is a true feast for the eyes and a place for the soul. The pavilion, with its large windows and delicate frescoes, forms the heart of this green oasis in the middle of Innsbruck.
The Hofgarten has existed since the early 15th century. Back then, it was reserved only for imperial highnesses, princes, and members of the court. Even Maria Theresa is said to have "relaxed" there.
Today, the garden is open to everyone. With melodious music, it’s hard to imagine a more atmospheric way to spend the lunchtime hour in August.
