Arrival - Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik

Your arrival at the Innsbrucker Festwochen

We welcome all our guests from near and far and would be delighted if you would support us in our efforts to make the Festwochen as sustainable as possible by travelling by public transport wherever possible.

Your Festwochen Ticket is valid on public transport

Within the city zone of Innsbruck, your Festwochen Ticket is also valid as a ticket for public transport 2 hours before and after the event.
Information on timetables and connections can be found on the website of our mobility partner IVB:

Der Festwochen-Shuttle

In addition to the IVB line M (towards Aldrans Fagslung), a free Festwochen Shuttle runs every 15 minutes to the evening concerts at Schloss Ambras.
Stops are marked with shuttle signs and timetables.
After the concert, several buses will be available at the same time to take you back to the city.

PLEASE NOTE: In 2026, the shuttle will take a different route than in previous years.
Please find out in good time which stop is most convenient for you!

The exact timetable and shuttle stops can be found here:

Our venues are also easily accessible by bike. Bike racks are available in the immediate vicinity of our venues.
The Stadtrad Innsbruck offers a great opportunity for all visitors to get around the city on two wheels. A central rental and return location is located directly in front of the Haus der Musik Innsbruck, with direct access to the Tiroler Landestheater, the Hofburg, the Hofkirche, the Hofgarten, the Dom and the old town.

By car

If you are travelling by car (carpooling if possible), paid public parking is available near our venues. Please note that the parking facility are often well occupied.
For this reason, we as well recommend travelling by public transport.
