Raffle
The fourth Ambrase Castle Concert on 1 August features music that marks the very beginning of everything we know and love as opera today. Jörg Halubek, together with three finalists from the Cesti Competition, brings Jacopo Peri’s «Dafne» to life. Join us as we return to the very beginning and listen to fragments of an opera that is over 400 years old and marked the dawn of a new art form.
For the concert, we are giving away two tickets to a reader who can answer the following question:
When was Jacopo Peri’s ‘Dafne’, the first opera in musical history, first performed?
How the competition works:
- Answer the question
- Send your answer by email to festwochen@altemusik.at by Easter Sunday, 5 April
- With a bit of luck, you’ll win two tickets for the 4th Ambrase Castle Concert in the draw on Tuesday, 7 April!
Good luck!
Entry deadline: Sunday 5 April 2026, 23:59. The winners will be selected in a private draw, notified by email and the tickets sent via Print@home. No cash alternative available. The judges’ decision is final.
