"With his latest CD, Franco Fagioli is going back to Handel and the result is fascinating and uncompromisingly captivating," "Gramophone" magazine reported on the countertenor's album featuring Handel arias, released in 2018. The magazine "Classics Today" finds that this Handel cross-section from Fagioli offers “great opera and everything that this term encompasses, with deeply felt slow arias expressing pain and love and sung with soft, round tones and unbroken legato, and stormy, fast arias with their themes of revenge or anger, spat out with sharp consonants." With his exquisite voice, Franco Fagioli will also dedicate himself to the glamorous and noble style of Handel's Neapolitan operatic counterpart, Leonardo Vinci.
