A celebration of Baroque colour, brought vividly to life by the gentle élan of the transverse flute and the piercing power of the recorder.

Dorothee Oberlinger and Dorothea Seel – two masters of historically informed flute performance – place their instruments at the heart of a Baroque concert evening. In ever-changing combinations, a finely tuned interplay unfolds, ranging from the splendor of overtures to the agility of concertante music. They are joined by the Barocksolisten München, from whose ranks the breathy tones of the chamber organ and the glassy shimmer of the viola da gamba emerge, radiating festive brilliance in the music of Hasse, Telemann, and their contemporaries.
