The «New York Times» declared that the young Russian soprano Julia Lezhneva sings with a voice of «angelic beauty». In her first appearance at the Innsbruck Festival, the shining soprano star will sing arias by Handel and sacred motets by Vivaldi. «La voce» Lezhneva will be accompanied by the La Voce Strumentale ensemble and its concertmaster Dmitry Sinkovsky in Innsbruck. The Russian universal musician will also play a violin concerto by Vivaldi – and sing duets with Julia Lezhneva with his equally brilliant countertenor voice. In their joint performances, the two Russian artists have proven to be a musical dream team for the baroque and Classical repertoires.
