Valentina Stadler is now returning to perform in the intimate setting of the St Nicholas Chapel at Schloss Ambras with her finely drawn soprano rich in colour. The programme includes cantatas by Barbara Strozzi and George Friedich Handel, giving voice to the experiences of forlorn lovers and spanning about half a century of the history of the Italian chamber cantata.
