Han Sol Lee Eo, winner of the Johann Heinrich Schmelzer Competition at the International Baroque Festival Melk Abbey, presents an expressive and intimate program to the Innsbruck audience in the first chapel concert. Together with flautist Yeuntae Jung - still fondly remembered for his virtuoso playing in “Händel & Greber” at the 2024 Festwochen - the violinist unfolds a panorama of Baroque music-making: from Schmelzer's virtuosity, Telemann's melodic variety and Bach's harmonic sophistication interwoven with lyrical beauty to Biber's “Crucifixion” from the Rosary Sonatas, which is imbued with emotional depth. And who is pulling the strings? All together - including harpsichordist Tung-Han Hu, of course!

The event was realised as part of K_on_temporary.
