Alberto Allegrezza

Alberto Allegrezza is a singer, recorder player, playwright and actor. He studied the recorder at the ‘Arrigo Pedrollo’ Conservatoire in Vicenza. He studied singing with William Matteuzzi, Gloria Banditelli and Sonia Prina.

In spring 2023, he will make his debut at La Scala in Milan as Meneca vernillo in ‘Vinci Li Zite 'ngalera’.

Alberto Allegrezza founded the Dramatodía ensemble together with actresses and musicians, with whom he stages musical comedies from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

He made his debut as a director at the Innsbruck Festival in 2022 with Pallavicini’s ‘L’Amazzone corsara’.

He teaches early theatrical gestures on early music courses in Rovigo, at the Conservatorio Marcello in Venice, the Conservatorio Frescobaldi in Ferrara and the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague.
