Cardinal Points Ensemble
The Cardinal Points Ensemble was founded in 2023 and consists of Lea Bodner (soprano), Laura-Maria Waldauf (baroque violin), Magdalena Waldauf (baroque violin), Antonia Neussl (baroque cello), and Elias Gabriel Huber (harpsichord). Originally hailing from all corners of Tyrol, the five musicians are currently studying in locations scattered across Vienna, Salzburg, Nuremberg, and Berlin. “Cardinal Points” – the German term for the cardinal directions – also serve as an inspiration for the ensemble’s music. With varied and carefully curated concert programs, the ensemble brings the rich diversity of early music to life.
