Ensemble Rosarum Flores

In 2014, recorder player Ilse Strauß and lutenist Wolfgang Praxmarer founded the Ensemble Rosarum Flores in Innsbruck. With its diverse concert programmes and educational initiatives, the ensemble spans a musical arc from the late Middle Ages through the Renaissance and Baroque periods to the Biedermeier era and into the 20th century. Its repertoire ranges from duo performances to large-scale productions featuring singers, wind players, string players and keyboard instruments.
