Familienmusik Huber

With heart, soul and sensitivity, the Familienmusik Huber from the Ahrntal valley is dedicated to Alpine folk music.

The musical foundations were laid early on through singing together. The Alpenländischen Sing- und Musizierwoche and important musical friendships allowed the joy of making music together to flourish, and over the years the Familienmusik Huber developed its own distinctive sound.

Their award of the Herma Haselsteiner Prize in 2016 was followed by performances at numerous major events, such as the Bischofshofen Amselsingen, the Tyrolean Advent Singing and various radio and television programmes. In 2025, the family’s musical achievements will be honoured with the Pongauer Hahn.

With varying line-ups, bespoke arrangements and an unmistakable sound, they celebrate traditional music, breathe new life into forgotten pieces and bring new compositions to life.
