Lorrie Garcia

The French mezzo-soprano Lorrie Garcia was born in Marseille, where she cultivated her passion for singing from an early age. Whilst studying at the Darius Milhaud Conservatoire in Aix-en-Provence, she devoted herself, amongst other things, to composing pop songs, which led to her performing on major stages such as the Dôme in Marseille.

At the age of 20, she decided that the world of opera was where she belonged and joined the opera singing class at the Marseille Conservatoire, graduating with top marks in 2018. During this time, Garcia was able to polish her skills at the Monte-Carlo Opera Academy and make her debut in various operetta roles at the Odeon Theatre in Marseille. This was followed by further vocal studies with Cassandre Berthon and Ludovic Tézier, and performances at several theatres and venues across France.
