Neima Fischer

The Franco-German soprano Neima Fischer received her training at the University of Music, Drama and Media in Hanover under Sabine Ritterbusch, Anne Champert and Jan Philip Schulze. She spent an academic year at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. As part of this exchange programme, she was selected to take part in masterclasses and concerts with Ton Koopman at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.

For her performance in the title role of Handel’s ‘Arianna in Creta’ at the 2024 Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik, she was nominated for the Austrian Music Theatre Prize in 2025. In the same year, she received a scholarship from the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben. From September 2025, she will be part of the Académie de l’Opéra national de Paris as an ‘Artist in Residence’.

Back in 2023, she won the Young Artist Award at the International Singing Competition for Baroque Opera «Pietro Antonio Cesti» and was a finalist at the German National Singing Competition in Berlin in 2024.
