Žiga Čopi

Slovenian tenor Žiga Čopi is gaining recognition for the elegance of his timbre and the expressive clarity of his artistry across the baroque and classical repertoire.

In November 2025, Žiga joined the Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy in Milan, performing Don Ottavio in Mozart’s «Don Giovanni» under Maestro Muti’s guidance at Fondazione Prada.

A distinguished competition laureate, Žiga was named Absolute Winner with 100 points at Slovenia’s national music competition TEMSIG in 2025. He is also the recipient of the Škerjanec Prize awarded by the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet.Žiga studies with Edita Garčević Koželj and is a Talent Pathway Artist at Firenze Mascarade Opera for the 2025/26 season.
