Mobility

Our venues are easily accessible by public transport, on foot and by bicycle, and most are barrier-free. Bicycle parking spaces are available at each venue. A Festwochen ticket is also valid as a ticket for public transport in the Innsbruck city zone for 2 hours before and after the event. There is also a free shuttle service for events at Schloss Ambras. We actively encourage our guests to travel in an environmentally friendly manner.

We ensure that our employees and guests are accommodated as close as possible to the venue.

Catering

At least half of the dishes offered by our caterers are vegetarian. In addition, we primarily use regional and seasonal products, preferably organic. Eggs are sourced exclusively from free-range farms, preferably organic, and foods that raise animal welfare and species protection concerns are generally not offered. 

Our caterers purchase drinks in reusable containers and serve them in glasses, cups or reusable mugs.

We do not use aluminium cans, portion packs (e.g. for ketchup, sugar, etc.) or disposable capsule systems.

Procurement

We reduce purchases of all kinds as much as possible. For necessary products, we generally pay attention to regional origin, existing environmental seals of approval and/or possible involvement of non-profit organisations. We avoid products that have been transported long distances from low-wage countries without environmental and social standards.

We reduce the need for paper and printed materials to the necessary minimum. Any remaining paper (including specially procured hygiene paper) and printed materials are made from 100% recycled material.

We do not hand out printed materials indiscriminately.

Our giveaways and gifts meet sustainability criteria. Our gifts for artists, for example, are chocolates from Tiroler Edle.

Energy & Waste

We ensure the efficient use of water, electricity and heat, as far as this is within our control. As all events take place in the summer, no heating is required and only minimal lighting is needed.

We provide waste bins in both the guest area and backstage, enabling waste to be separated into the appropriate categories.

Social responsibility

We have provided detailed descriptions of the accessibility of all venues on our website.

People with hearing and/or visual impairments have the option of purchasing tickets in the front rows.

We take care to use neutral language that appeals to everyone.

We inform our employees about the regulations governing the protection of minors at events for children and young people and instruct them to comply with these regulations.

We have jointly decided on the planned implementation as GREEN EVENT TIROL basic as a team and stand behind the necessary measures.
