The singer Jole de Baerdemaeker has unearthed a treasure hidden in the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (Bavarian State Library): "La Fleur des Chansons" is the name of a collection published in 1574 by Pierre Phalèse‘s Flemish publishing house, which contains three-part scores of sonnets. Jole de Baerdemaeker has done intensive research on one of the composers, T. Crecquillon, and has also investigated the possible pronunciation of the lyrics from the Franco-Flemish Renaissance. The singer and her fellow musicians of the Ensemble Fabridoen, founded at the Salzburg Mozarteum, will present a beautiful bouquet of these chansons to the lunchtime concert audience in the pavilion of the Innsbruck Hofgarten (Imperial Gardens).
