Workshop concerts offer a unique opportunity to delve deep into the world of early music and adopt exciting new perspectives.

Ottavio Dantone not only brings wonderful music to the stage but also explains the musical process behind interpreting mere notes and bringing them to life on stage. Here, the central role of the conductor as a mediator between scores and musicians receives special attention. How do conductors succeed in merging the various instrumentalists of the orchestra into a harmonious whole, without neglecting the individual contributions of the musicians in shaping soundscapes?

As a hybrid format that combines elements of a concert and rehearsal, workshop concerts allow for an up-close and live experience of the captivating musical development of an ensemble and the elaboration of a concert program, starting from the first shared look at the scores.

This not only provides a glimpse behind the scenes of the festival but also creates a special connection between the audience and the performers on stage. Music is more than what is written in the notes: it's a vibrant and creative art form brought to life through passion and emotion, the connection between artists and the audience, and the skill of musicians and conductors.
