Los Elementos

The ensemble Los Elementos was founded in 2018 with the aim of performing the 'Zarzuela Vendado es Amor, no es ciego' by the composer José de Nebra – one of the greatest figures of the Spanish Baroque – on historical instruments for the first time. It was founded by Alberto Miguélez Rouco and consists of musicians of various nationalities, the most of whom are connected to the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland. One of its main aims is the performance, restoration and promotion of Spain’s rich musical heritage, particularly that of the 18th century.
