Silvia Porcellini
Italian soprano Silvia Porcellini graduated with honors from the Venice Conservatory, before refining her studies at the Accademia Chigiana and Rome’s Accademia di Santa Cecilia under Sara Mingardo. Renowned as a compelling singer-actress with a clear, luminous timbre and brilliant virtuosity, she brings effortless stylistic versatility to Baroque, Classical, and Belcanto repertoire.
She made her soloist debut in Albinoni’s "Engelberta" at Teatro Malibran (Venice) and has since performed key Händel roles — including the title role in "Atalanta" at the Innsbrucker Festwochen and "Il convito d’Alessandro" at the Händelfestspiele in Halle — alongside Monteverdi's "L'Incoronazione di Poppea" and Neapolitan School works by Scarlatti and Piccinni. An adept specialist in Mozartian repertoire with an extensive study of his principal soprano roles, her stage debuts include Despina ("Così fan tutte") and Pamina ("Die Zauberflöte"). Her Belcanto roles feature Clorinda ("La Cenerentola") across European stages (Vicenza, Bucharest, Sabbioneta, Ankara).
