A brief overview of musical upheavals, between times and about time. The lunchtime concert hosted by Felix Gutschi & Ensemble starts from the Art of Diminution around 1600, which was ground-breaking for the establishment of Baroque soloism, moving on to Jean-Marie Leclair, who, as an early composer of the Sensitive Style, paved the way to early classical music, and to Louis Andriessen. The Dutchman is regarded as one of today’s contemporary composers significantly helping the recorder to experience a renaissance in modern music and leading the instrument into a new era.
