The two sisters Vera and Patrizia Bieber fascinate audiences as a duo with their unique harmony, which stems from blind understanding and sparkling enthusiasm. Their studies and masterclasses have taken them to renowned personalities such as Prof. Dorothee Oberlinger, Prof. Maurice Steger, Prof. Carsten Eckert, Prof. Midori Seiler and Prof. Mayumi Hirasaki.
Numerous successes and awards confirm their talent: first prize at the Open Recorder Days in Amsterdam, second prize at the Premio Selìfa – International Competition for Early Music, as well as scholarships from the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation, the German Music Foundation, the Germany Scholarship, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom and the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
Vera studied recorder at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Prof. Dorothee Oberlinger. Patrizia studied violin at the Trossingen University of Music with Prof. Rudolf Rampf and then
baroque violin with Prof. Midori Seiler and Prof. Mayumi Hirasaki, as well as violin with Prof. Harald Herzl and Anneliese-Clara Gahl. She received harpsichord lessons from Prof. Carsten Lorenz, Prof.
Marieke Spaans and Andreas Gilger. Patrizia is currently pursuing her doctorate at the Hector Institute for Empirical Educational Research at the University of Tübingen and teaches at the Böblingen Music School and the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts. With over 60,000 followers on social media, Vera inspires a wide audience. Her own music bridges the gap between film music, early music, traditional and folk music, and popular music, captivating listeners from different genres. The young artist currently lives and works in Vienna.
