Following his passion for early music, he studied historical performance practice and historical keyboard instruments at the Berlin University of the Arts with Prof. Mitzi Meyerson and graduated with honours. In February 2024, he completed a double degree in harpsichord and fortepiano at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich under the direction of Prof. Christine Schornsheim.

He is a multiple prize-winner of international competitions in the solo and ensemble categories, including the Telemann Competition Magdeburg (2019), the Biagio Marini Competition (2020), the Handel Competition Göttingen (2022), the Bach Competition Leipzig (2022), the German Music Competition (2024) and the ensemble competition À Tre in Trossingen (2024).

Tung-Han Hu is a sought-after harpsichordist and chamber musician who works with numerous artists worldwide. He has been working as a harpsichord accompanist at the Institute for Early Music at Berlin University of the Arts since the winter semester 2022/2023.
