In the scope of the Innsbruck Festival, a group of musicians will be wandering through the city centre with original instruments and music from the Renaissance and the baroque during the day, appearing at different locations to play music, probably even coaxing some listeners to join them in a dance. Music that was heard in the city several centuries ago will sound again in Innsbruck: songs and dances from the time of Emperor Maximilian but also from the times of Archdukes Ferdinand and Ferdinand Charles.
