According to a Spanish newspaper, Anna Fusek’s performance is characterised by a «magical interpretation» and a «poetic dimension». The flutist and violinist from Prague will play at the Ambras Castle Concerts for the first time this year with her Kavka ensemble, presenting two music collections dedicated to royalty. The title page of the Violin Sonatas, op. 3, printed in Innsbruck, reads «Consacrate All’Altezza di Madama, Serenissima Anna d’Austria». Giovanni Antonio Pandolfi Mealli wrote them at the foot of the Northern Range in honour of the wife of Ferdinand Charles, Archduke of Tyrol. The Spanish Prince John Joseph of Austria, son of the Spanish King Philip IV, on the other hand, was the dedicatee of a collection of songs, fantasies and dances composed by Andrea Falconieri in the Spanish Viceroyalty of Naples at the foot of Vesuvius.

At the Innsbruck court, the art-minded royal couple, Ferdinand Charles and Anna, once listened with great pleasure to court violinist Pandolfi Mealli portraying well-known personalities and musicians at court with brilliant notes and chords in his sonatas. Incidentally, Pandolfi Mealli could rely on his violin being of top quality, as «archducal servant» Jacobus Stainer worked as a luthier for the Innsbruck court.
