Han Sol Lee Eo, born in Busan, Korea, is active as a violinist and cultural producer in both Europe and Korea.
She began her music studies in Germany at the age of 17 and graduated from the Berlin University of the Arts with Prof Latica Honda-Rosenberg and Irene Wilhelmi. She then devoted herself to studying the baroque violin with Prof. Irmgard Huntgeburth and obtained her master's degree as an instrumental soloist with honours. In addition to her solo activities, she has performed in numerous opera productions and orchestras. Her musical repertoire ranges from baroque music to contemporary music.
Her interest in the baroque violin opened up new musical horizons for her. Since 2015, she has been deepening her knowledge through masterclasses and projects with renowned musicians such as Florence Malgoire, Christoph Huntgeburth, Enrico Onofri, Pedro Memelsdorff, Manfredo Kraemer and Sigiswald Kuijken.
In 2016, she was awarded the jury prize at the International Early Music Competition in Yamanashi, Japan, with the Ensemble d'Amico. In May 2024, she won the Schmelzer Prize at the Heinrich Schmelzer Competition in Melk Abbey, Austria.
She is currently active as a baroque violinist, enthusiastically exploring different repertoires and organising concerts and projects between Europe and Korea.
