Massimo Frigato

Massimo Frigato (c) Klara Beck

Massimo Frigato is a lyric tenor born in 1995. Since childhood, he has dedicated himself to musical studies, starting with the piano and then moving on to the bassoon. At the age of 10, he entered the class of Alberto Guerra at Rovigo ‘Francesco Venezze’ Conservatory.

At 21, Massimo was admitted to the Lyric Singing class at Adria ‘Antonio Buzzolla’ Conservatory, where he graduated with top honours and praise. At the same time, he specialized with important figures in the opera world, such as Leone Magiera, Barbara Frittoli, and Gloria Scalchi.

Winner of the 2022 Tullio Serafin Competition, Massimo has played leading roles in various productions, including Don Ottavio in ‘Don Giovanni’, Ferrando in ‘Così fan tutte’, Agenore in ‘Il Re Pastore’, Basilio in ‘Le nozze di Figaro’, Ernesto in ‘Don Pasquale’, Percy in ‘Anna Bolena’, and Chevalier de la Force in ‘Dialogues des Carmelites’. He has also participated in numerous academies, such as the one in Martina Franca, and made his debut at the Festival della Valle d’Itria in the role of Marchese in ‘Gli Uccellatori’. Massimo is currently at the opera studio in Strasbourg.
