Young singers from all over the world are invited to apply for the 9th International Cesti Competition.
The 9th edition of the International Singing Competition for Baroque Opera Pietro Antonio Cesti will take place from August 19th-24th in Innsbruck. Prizes for the most talented singers include engagments at major opera houses, as well as prize money.
The international jury features important representatives of the opera world such as Michael Fichtenholz, artistic director of the Händel-Festspiele Karlsruhe, Alessandro De Marchi, artistic director of the Innsbruck Festival and Countertenor Lawrence Zazzo.
